There are a number of widely used verbs which have irregular past participles in the
passato prossimo. Most of these are verbs in the second conjugation (
-ere). Below you will find a list of commonly used verbs with irregular past participles. Verbs in
bold require the use of
essere as an auxiliary verb before the participle.
