  1. Qualche
  2. Qualche is an Italian indefinite adjective, which means some, or a few. Qualche is invariable--it never changes its form--and it is used only with singular nouns.

    Qualche amico mi aiuterà.
    Some friend will help me.

    Rimane solo qualche giorno.
Only a few days are left.

    Qualche volta esco con Luisa.
Sometimes I go out with Luisa.

  3. Qualsiasi
  4. Qualsiasi is also an indefinite adjective, and it can mean: any, any kind of, whichever, whatever. Like the previous indefinite adjective that we saw, qualsiasi is also invariable.

    Potrebbe arrivare in qualsiasi momento!
He could arrive at any moment!

    Qualsiasi film mi interessa.
    Any film whatsoever interests me.
Qualsiasi may be used with plural nouns if it follows them.

    Prendi dei biscotti qualsiasi.
    Get any kind of cookies.

  5. Qualunque
  6. Qualunque is an indefinite adjective, which also means any, any kind of, whichever, whatever. Like the previous two indefinite adjectives, qualunque is also invariable.

Qualunque and qualsiasi follow the same rules and they are interchangeable.

    A loro piace qualunque ristorante.
They like any kind of restaurant.

Also like qualsiasi, qualunque may be used with plural nouns if it follows them.

Guys, put on any old shoes and let’s go!
NB: When qualsiasi and qualunque follow plural nouns, they indicate things or people of common, mediocre, or normal value/quality. They are akin to using the expression “any old” in English.

    Dario is an ordinary man.

Ours isn’t just any old product.

  7. Qualsiasi and qualunque with il congiuntivo
  8. Qualsiasi and qualunque are both used to introduce a concessive phrase, with a verb in the subjunctive.

Di qualsiasi/qualunque cosa tu abbia bisogno, chiamami.
Call me for whatever you might need.

Qualsiasi/qualunque progetto artistico vogliate sviluppare, avrete il mio appoggio.
Any art project you may want to develop, you'll have my support.
If the concessive phrase contains the present subjunctive of the verb essere, qualunque should be used. This avoids repetition (qualsiasi sia).
